OnCue2.
Quiet reminders, loud intent.
Context-aware cues — location, time, or the shape of your morning — nudging without nagging. The reminder app for people who don't want a reminder app.
4 screens, nothing more.
Features, carefully chosen.
Every feature earns its place. If it doesn't make the daily ritual easier, it isn't in the app.
Context, not clock
Cues fire on location, time, or after a routine event — not on a raw schedule.
Quiet by default
No sound, no vibration unless you ask. Just a glanceable home-screen badge.
Rituals, not tasks
Each cue has a "why" line you write once. See it every time the cue surfaces.
On-device first
All state lives in Room locally. Sync is opt-in and end-to-end encrypted.
Soft history
A weekly ring, a monthly view. No streaks to break, no chains to forge.
Night-safe
Cues respect Do-Not-Disturb and never fire between 22:00 and 07:00 unless explicitly allowed.
The pitch
OnCue is for the person who opens a reminder app and groans. You don’t want another inbox. You want a soft nudge at the exact moment it’s useful — and silence the rest of the day.
How OnCue decides when to surface
Cues can chain on any of these:
- Time windows with tolerance, not exact minutes (“sometime in the morning”).
- Location arrivals and departures (home, work, a bookmarked café).
- Prior-cue completion (“after you stretch, drink a glass of water”).
- Do-Not-Disturb respect — OnCue never overrides your phone’s quiet settings.
What it is not
It isn’t a to-do app. It isn’t a calendar. It doesn’t pile up unread items. If you miss a cue, it’s gone — the only record is a soft mark on the weekly ring. Tomorrow is a fresh cup.
